Haz transitions to ISO 14001 & 9001:2015

Haz Environmental successfully transitioned to the ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 2015 standards, in 2016 following on site audits by BSI.

Any organisation who is ISO accredited should be aware they are required to comply with the new 2015 standard clauses by September 2018. The changes are implemented to improve alignment with other management systems standards.

Director Gary Perks says “when we were first introduced to the new standards we were aware there would be major revisions.

We had to tackle the requirement to understand the context of our organisation and identify all interested parties. This took some considerable thought on how we could achieve this, but we established a simple method utilising a register, which includes both risks and opportunities to our EMS and QMS systems.

Other aspects we had to change were systems manuals and policy statements. Re-training is also currently in progress.”

Our new certificates are available from our website downloads page.
